An utter joy to create this showstopper of a cake for Danielle and Sam and feeling on cloud nine knowing just how happy they were:

ā€œWhat can I say - wedding cake of dreams!!!!! It is more than we ever could imagine. Brief was ā€˜wedding cake, but make it less wedding - chocolate is a mustā€™ - what we got was this gloriously decadent Black Forest chocolate delight. Iā€™ve been bowled over by this beautiful photo gallery of F & Tā€™s wedding that Natalie has so kindly shared with me. Brimming with captures of joy and emotion but also details! And so many stunning detail shots of ALL of the elements that the couple incorporated into their day from the tiniest of details to the wider vision.
F & T brought in the early autumnal season into their wedding design through colours, fruit and flowers as well as a monkey motif to reflect their wedding venue, Monkey Island Estate. It was a magical wedding to be involved for the level of creativity shown from all of the suppliers as well as the grace the couple gave us to create freely. And Iā€™ve never seen anything quite so unique and individual all together. Just take a look at their stationery design, the floral arrangements, the brideā€™s outfit.
I canā€™t fit it all into one carousel so thereā€™ll be another post coming soon!

A staircase of dreams for E & J šŸ¤

During the planning stage, I was so excited to hear that Zoe would be flowering E & Jā€™s wedding. And the wedding reception was in full flow upstairs when I arrived to set up the cake so I didnā€™t get to see everything, but oh my, that staircase arrangement was stunning.

E & J themselves were a dream to work with - and this wedding was definitely a keeper for the memory box. It was a beaut and Phoebe has captured it all so perfectly šŸ¤

So Iā€™ve officially kicked off 2026 with my first wedding cake delivery of the yearā€¦but I donā€™t know about you, Iā€™m still attempting to fend off those January blues. So I thought a little reminder might help of warm, sunny days with G & Lā€™s gorgeous wedding in the height of summer.

They had a signature style cake with cascading fresh flowers and delicious flavours including champagne cake with peach compote and heavenly vanilla buttercream as well as coconut cake with raspberry jam and coconut buttercream ā¤ļø 2 of my favourites!
