🍒You’ve got to try out this recipe!! 🍎

🍒🍒Rustic Cherry Apple Mini Pies🍎🍎

✨The perfect spring tea-time snack✨

📝 by yours’ truly under the series✨

Used a pack of filo pastry sheets and rustically hand ripped them to give a very raw and rustic look. Used three small mini pie tins.

Used a handful of fresh cherries, pit removed and 3 nos peeled, cored and chopped apples. Threw these in a pan with the juice of one lime and 5 tbsp of caster or granulated sugar. Cook the cherries and apples until soft and mushy.

Top the filo pastry with this mushy fruity mixture and bake in a preheated oven at 180*C for 15mins.

Once slightly cooled garnish with a few golden linseeds.

Enjoy with a cup of espresso or flat white. Without sugar, ofcourse.

This recipe is perfect if you’re looking for something quick, seasonal, fruity and fresh. Can also be eaten warm with a scoop of plain Madagascar Vanilla Bean Ice-cream.

Perfect Spring time goodness!!☺️

The perfect 𝚂𝙿𝚁𝙸𝙽𝙶 tea-time divine complimenting companion to your evening cuppa.

This Fruity Blueberry Cake was born from a leftover blueberry muffin batter and I couldn’t ask for anything better. It’s just so fruity and wholesome and yet a little tart and citrusy from the light lemon zest added to the batter.

Oh my heart! What a lovely way to spend these last few days leading up to Easter!

Spring has Sprung and we want to see your desserts on Instagram..

Spring equinox is here!! Yesterday, officially marked the first day of Spring. Cheers to much more sunshine in our lives and longer days to make us feel more alive.

For me Spring always feels like new life and even though I have so many things at hand, I still make it a point to spend time appreciating the flowers and watching the bees work. I spend a few minutes to internalise the vibrant colours of berries before adding them to my smoothies or baking them after incorporating them in a cake or a muffins batter.

got a few variety of berries, including cherries, recently and I can’t wait to bake some desserts for our ongoing 🤍🤍
