It's been way too long since I posted on here! I've had a lot going on in my personal life and have been non existent on here 😅

I've still been baking though, check out these close ups from a trio of wedding cakes I did. I absolutely loved doing these cakes. They all shared the same rectangular shape and size but were all quite different in the free flowing design. I used fresh flowers from the brides bouquet to keep some fluidity between the cakes.

What do you think of the results?

Here it is! 🌈

The brief for this cake was to include references to 3 well known films; The Little Mermaid, The Wizard of Oz and Pinocchio. The recipient of the cake plays trumpet in an orchestra and these are some of his favourite shows he has played soundtracks to.

How many references to these stories can you find?🐠

Did you know you can order custom biscuits for any occasion? 🍪

These biscuits were ordered as a birthday gift and posted to the customer. They arrived neatly packed with tissue paper and in a lovely box.

Here's another one of my designs! The second pic shows the inspiration photo from the client. The animals were party bags for her daughters party, so I chose to stick with that colour scheme. See the last photo for the result!

Haven't done a post like this in a while. Thought I'd share my illustration of the initial design idea for the Pharmacy cake I did recently. The green cross was requested to be removed from the design by the client and I moved some of the text to the top of the cake to fill a blank gap.

The design process is one of my favourite steps on delivering people's dream cakes. It gives the client an opportunity to tell me all their ideas and then I get to show how they translate best.

Think I'll show more of these! 🍰
