Good news, breakfast lovers — The Bagel Queen is back open today at the usual spot on the A131 Braintree Road!
Because if we're all being honest, Sundays were not designed for standing in the kitchen wondering whether toast counts as a proper breakfast.
So give yourself the morning off and let me sort it for you.

Thankfully it's going to be a bit cooler today because yesterday I was so hot in the van I nearly listed myself on the menu.

Right gang… this weekend’s weather is looking absolutely feral 🌡️🔥 and sadly I’m going to have to close up shop.

The temperature inside the trailer banks up to well over 35°C and honestly… your girl turns into a toasted sesame bagel at that point 🫠🥯

I’m genuinely gutted about the lost trade because I love seeing all your lovely faces, but I have to put my health first. There is simply NO glamorous way to survive in a giant metal toaster on wheels 😭🔥

So to everyone planning to come out this weekend — I am so, so sorry 💔 Please know this wasn’t an easy decision at all.
