🌄 Right then, Cornwall — fancy doing something brilliant this weekend while also eating cake for a very good cause? 🧡
Join us at Liskeard Rugby Club (next to Lux Park) This Saturday from 12pm right through to Sunday 12pm, we’ll be proudly supporting Relay For Life 🎗️ — 24 hours of community spirit, cheering people on, and proving that doing good and having a lovely time can go hand in hand.
Having faced and survived cancer several times myself (because apparently once just wasn’t dramatic enough), this event means more to me than I can properly put into words. It’s deeply personal, and full of hope. 20% of our profits from the event will go straight to life saving cancer research, helping bring us closer to better treatments and cures. This year I’ve also been on the committee, supporting an amazing group of people — many of whom have poured their hearts into this event for 19 years.
We would absolutely love your support! Come along to our FREE family fun day — bring the kids, bring your mates, bring your best ‘I’m just popping in for five minutes’ face and then stay much longer because there’s genuinely something for everyone 🎉
✨ GF Tasty has gone a bit bigger this year — because subtlety is overrated and this wonderful cause deserves the full works! ✨
Alongside our usual delicious cakes and bakes, we’ve got plenty more to tempt you:
🍔 Saturday — hot food galore: burgers, pies, chips, nuggets and sausages (basically all the things that make people say, ‘Go on then, I’ll have one of each’).
🥓 Sunday — tasty breakfasts to keep everyone going: bacon rolls, sausage rolls, or mix and match your favourites like the breakfast champion you are.
You can also wander around the stalls, soak up the atmosphere, cheer everyone on, and be part of something truly special 🛍️ Every smile, every visit, and every bit of encouragement helps keep the energy going.
