Bridgend Community Consultation Survey

Services, community groups and other local organisations in Bridgend are working together to better understand the views and experiences of people who live and work in the area.

We want to hear what people value about their community, what they feel could be improved, and what issues they think should be given greater priority. Your views will allow ourselves and partners to identify local priorities and shape future activity and support in the area.

Whether you have lived or worked in the area for many years or are relatively new to the community, we would like to hear from you. Your input helps ensure that local priorities reflect the issues and aspirations of the people who know the area best.

We’re two sisters based in West Lothian and we’re really excited to introduce ourselves!

This year we’re launching a series of craft and connection groups locally — gentle, welcoming spaces to slow down, create, and connect with other women. From cosy evenings of making and chatting to shared moments around the table, our aim is simple: meaningful time together.

We also have something very special coming later this year… an immersive Writers Retreat designed for women who have a story to tell (more on that soon 👀✍️).

📖✨ Book Club Escape – Our First Pause of 2026✨📖

There is nothing better than pressing pause on the world and escaping into a brand new story and this week we’re starting 2026 the best way we know how… with the beautiful new release by the wonderful Caroline James Author – The Arctic Cruise ❄️🛳️

I first fell in love with Caroline’s books after a completely spontaneous Audible purchase of The French Cookery School. I was transported as if I was right there, and from then on we officially joined the Cruise Club! 💙

Now we’re all set for our next literary adventure… an Arctic getaway without even leaving the sofa.

So the only real question is… which sister gets to read it first?
