Alongside our supper clubs,
we’re starting BRAAI SATURDAYS

This is our next season.

We’re parents of three, and we know how hard it is to get out in the evening.

Sometimes you don’t want a whole night out.

You just want good food, good company, and to still get home at a reasonable time.

We’ll be closing the arches at 2pm on Saturdays so we can light the fire and spend a few hours together instead.

Your ticket includes a generous plate from the braai, and veggie and vegan plates are just as full.

It’s served with seasonal salads, dips, sauces, and fresh bread.

And then there’s dessert, a changing selection of the ones we love most.

Kids are very welcome, and they’re just £1.

There’ll be space to run around, garden games, and a bit of friendly competition if you’re up for it.

We’ll have beers and wine available, along with our usual drinks.

This isn’t a big night out.
It’s just a few hours to sit, eat, and be.
It feels more like us right now.
It’s a chance for our family to spend time with yours before we start thinking about what’s next.

If it sounds like something you need, we’d love to have you.

A small thing most people don’t realise…

Hot coffee is taxed 20%
(whether you sit in or take it away).

Iced takeaway coffee is zero rated !

So choosing iced
and taking a moment outside in the sunshine
means a little more stays with the business.

Not much on one coffee.
But it adds up.

A small way to help out your local coffee shop!

Iced & out
to help out.

You just move through it anyway.

Doing what needs to be done
before you’ve even had a moment
to catch up with yourself.

We see that too.

This place changed the shape of our lives in ways we didn’t expect.

We came into it thinking it would be temporary.

A bit of breathing space before we figured out what came next.

But instead… it slowed everything down.

It gave us time in a way our old careers never could.

Time to actually be present.

Time to build a life alongside the work, not around it.
and that’s quite a rare thing.

I don’t think we realised it at the time because when you’re in it, it just feels like normal life.

It’s only now, looking back,
that we can see what it really gave us,
and that’s probably why this next step feels
like a big one.

Not because we’re walking away from something
but because we’re choosing what comes next with a bit more intention.

There aren’t many businesses that give you this kind of life.

The kind where work and life don’t feel completely separate.

So we’re really hoping this finds someone
who’s been quietly looking for something like that.

And if that’s not you
you probably know someone it is.

And in the meantime…

if you haven’t been in for a while,
or you’ve been meaning to visit
now’s a really lovely time.

We’d genuinely love to see you.
