Who doesn’t love the combination of chocolate and fresh berries? 🍓 even better so, on a cake!

Chocolate is probably one of the most popular flavours when it comes to celebration cakes, and in all fairness, I can see why. The fluffy rich chocolate sponge, sandwiched with silky buttercream and topped with gorgeous seasonal berries. You can’t go wrong 🫐 It’s just so pretty… and delicious!

Happy Sunday everyoneee ☀️

I hope you’ve all got lovely Sunday plans to round your weekend off. My week has been a little different, having taken the week off from Little Berries and had some time at home with my Charlie Barley 💙

We celebrated Ralph turning five, which of cause is always exciting having a birthday in the household!

Amongst that, we’ve also baked quite a few celebration cakes this week, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. Not one has been the same, but this carrot cake in particular was just so elegantly pretty having a border around the outer of the cake. This allowed space for toppers to be stuck on top!

I’m looking forward to creating more summery celebration cakes over the coming months 🌻

OFF CUT CAKE BOWL • £12.95

Every now and then I get an exciting cake order that means off cuts can’t be avoided, but they often don’t get eaten by the family before they are past their best and need to be thrown away, which breaks my heart to see waste!

Last week I asked you all if you’d buy off cut cake with spare icing, and you all said HELL YEAHHHHH. There was no doubt about that 👏🏼

Today’s off cuts are Crumbled Chocolate sponge cake, layered with silky chocolate buttercream. Topped with a strawberry, of cause!

It’s deliciously chocolatey and indulgent. I’ll have some available this weekend too, so be speedy and snap them up 🫶🏼

Ohhh to be twenty one again 🫶🏼

It’s been a beautifully busy and sunny Saturday baking this stunning cake for a twenty first birthday celebration tonight 🥂

Sadly, I didn’t schedule enough time in the day before collection to take better photos for the gram. Buttttt, I’ve got lots of number cakes coming up this week which I can’t wait to create and share with you all. Photography time has been pencilled in 📸

Happy Easter weekend everyone 🐣 I’ve made crunch cakes galore ready for today!

One of this week’s orders that couldn’t not be shared on my grid. Thirty has never looked so pretty and delicious 🌸 I can’t get enough of edible flowers for elegant decor, alongside fresh berries of cause!

This gorgeous cake was a classic Victoria Sponge with homemade Raspberry Jam & Buttercream icing, it was a pleasure creating this order for my customer.

Having trialled making this Peanut Butter Date Bar last weekend really caught lots of my wonderful followers attention on my stories. I’ve had a slither a day so far and can confirm it’s delicious. Taking a mere five minutes to make!

To create the base I use Medjool dates, split in half with the stones removed, topping with crunchy peanut butter and a 70% dark chocolate. Finishing it off with sunflower seeds and dried cranberries for adding nutrition, and of cause prettiness.

This bake is a healthier option for those with a sweet tooth, but it’s incredibly versatile and can be filled with anything that takes your fancy or what you’ve got to hand in the cupboard!

It’s been a weekend of chatting weddings with lots of lovely customers for the 2026 season 💍 and to top it off I was sent these lovely professional pictures of cakes I made for a gorgeous wedding last year. They didn’t want a traditional tiered cake, so opted for having three different flavoured cakes and I think they look soooo pretty!
