Looking back on Emilie & Jack’s wedding having been sent some gorgeous pictures of their special day 👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏼

Their cake was a classic Victoria Sponge, using homemade Radpberry Jam, iced with a beautifully creamy whipped Buttercream and decorated with jam filled buttercream cups and stunning fresh fruits. I absolutely loved the shape and size of this cake, just gorgeous!

Congratulations to you both 🍰

I’ll definitely have to do a post dedicated to the desserts!

One of my favourite things about being a baker is making my bakes taste delicious, but also look absolutely gorgeous, and this wreath cake really nailed both of those things for me!

Safi & Dave chose to have a Zingy Lemon Sponge cake with a fresh homemade Lemon Curd filling and Lemon Curd Buttercream. Music to my ears in the summery months.

We finished the cake with a beautiful wreath made from fresh seasonal Berries, which tied in perfectly with the lemony flavours 🍋

Physical proof that a year has passed in the blink of an eye!

I was flicking through my photos today, looking back on what I’ve done for different peoples special occasions and celebrations, which brought to light that having the pleasure of creating these mini desserts for a wedding at was exactly a year ago. Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary!

I’m still a lover of dessert tables at weddings, I feel it’s the perfect way to satisfy everyone’s taste buds! Do you prefer a third course or a help yourself vibe?!

Calling all Brownie lovers 🍫 she’s a dreamy one!

This was the perfect cake for a lovely customer of mine, who was celebrating turning thirty and can’t see past the hazelnut brownie when it’s available. To be honest, I can see why.

Three layers of rich hazelnut brownie, sandwiched with a super silky double chocolate ganache and chopped hazelnuts. Plus a couple of Ferraro Rocher’s. Yummmmmy!

June has been a month of weddings, each one being so unique!

I love seeing everything come together after so much planning for the couples special day. The visions with colours, flowers, table plans and decor, timings and of cause, the cake!

Massive, fancy cakes aren’t for everyone, and sometimes as long as your surrounded by the people you love, all you need is a simple, classic and delicious cake 🧡

Sophie & Jack opted for a Classic Victoria Sponge Cake and an array of bite boards. Rich Chocolate Brownie, Millionaire Shortbread, Raspberry & White Chocolate Blondie and Lemon Drizzle.

July & August are fully booked for me, but I do have some availability from September onwards 😍

Perfectly peachy 🍑

Something new to make is always refreshing, and this Peach Posset with an Amaretti Crumb was just perfect. The hardest part was scooping out the stones neatly!

Minimal effort for a beautiful, elegant and tasty dessert on a summers day is always a dessert I’d happily make time and time again. And, there’s no waste. Every last crumb is edible!

Next time I’ll share a video for you all to try the recipe for yourselves at home 😍

This weekend was my busiest weekend yet, with baking for three local weddings kept me busy 🫶🏼

I loved this cake as I’ve been thinking for ages I’d love to make a long cake. They are very on trend, elegant and simple to make!

Amongst making this gorgeous cake for Jack & Emilie, there were some beautiful desserts, traybakes and moreeee cakes made for each wedding. I’ll share photos soon 🫶🏼
