Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Picknell ❤️💙 who celebrated their special day in the beautiful Cotswolds last weekend.

Absolutely loved being given some creative freedom with this wedding cake design.. after being shown a few ideas and inspiration photos.
A really unique theme too - which made it all the more fun to make!

2 tiers of traditional vanilla sponge & one tier of lemon cake.. decorated with edible fondant mushrooms, moss, mud, snails (and various other minibeasts!)

My youngest son asked for a surprise for his cake this year (love having a bit of creative freedom!) and I straight away decided on his favourite Guardians of the Galaxy character - baby Groot.

He had a little bowling party with some friends so to match that theme, Groot did too!
The cake was chocolate sponge, with a few vanilla cupcakes added too - complete with edible fondant bowling pins, to decorate.

Loved the little look on the birthday boy’s face when he got to see his surprise - made the time and detailing so worth it to see a big happy grin 💙

Happy 2nd Birthday to Rixon!

Loved recreating this design sent to me, which features edible fondant farm animals (with Rixon’s favourite, the goat - taking centre stage!)

2 tiers of sponge, one Vanilla & one Chocolate, set the scene of the farmyard .. to compliment Rixon’s farmyard themed birthday party ❤️

Thanks so much to my lovely customers for your support, kind reviews & cake orders so far this year. I no longer have any availability for the rest of the year but am now taking orders for 2023.

I currently have space remaining for one cake order in the following months - March, April, June, August, & October 2023 so if you have an occasion in mind and would like a special cake its never too early to book a space in my diary so please do get in touch! The paint pot is chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream, with a personalised edible label & handcrafted fondant tools, brushes & paint roller!

Congratulations to Jim & Liz celebrating 50 years married today. Loved being asked to create this cake - a vanilla sponge movie reel featuring family photographs from over the years, and handcrafted edible models to replicate the bride and groom on their big day in 1972, finished with some special cinema tickets & popcorn! ❤️

Loved creating this rustic wedding cake design & what a lovely wedding yesterday too!
A combination of Lemon, Black Forest, and Vanilla sponges, fondant iced and hand painted in a tree bark effect, decorated with flowers to compliment the Bride’s bouquet 💐🌸🌺💖
