What a better way to spend a Friday afternoon!!! Tea, cake and finding out how 'The Matabi Contract' began........

'It was towards the end of the 1990's and I was heavily involved in running my company acting as s Marketing Consultant for small to medium business companies.
I had the use of a second floor office in Deansgate, Manchester. I had a splendid view of the famous street and in my spare moments, I found it quite fascinating watching the world go by! People hurrying, others dejectedly shuffling along, groups chatting and singles making their way with care. All shapes and sizes.
Then one day, I had just finished pricing a contract for some building work and I gazed out of the window.
Three African guys were pushing and jostling a fourth. It was a little more than a push and shove and number 4 was being slapped around. After a while, when they were still in my sight, the aggression and frolicked fizzed out and all four were like mates again.
But not for me! My mind was racing and an idea began to develop at breakneck speed.
I was living in Southport at the time and as I travelled home, the storyline and even the ending began to emerge. The Matabi Contract had been created and my vivid imagination had carried the day!
All I had to do was type it all up! Phew!!'
