I'm back open after my little birthday break this week, and taking orders for next Thursday, including these new cherry bakewell cookies; big almondy cookies stuffed with cherry jam, white chocolate chunks, and toasty flaked almonds.

I'll be open next week as normal, but closed the week of the 27th, so this is your last chance to try these Neapolitan Sugar Cookies, a delicious blend of chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla dough that's inspired by the ice cream flavour that everyone's grandparents always had on hand (or maybe just mine?), but won't melt in the heat.

Did anyone else used to scoop out just the vanilla and strawberry and leave the chocolate, or am I the only weirdo that doesn't like chocolate ice cream? Love every other kind though!

New for August: Miso Butter Sweetcorn Focaccia! A fluffy focaccia topped with fresh sweetcorn lightly sauteed in miso butter with a hint of honey, and finished with toasty sesame seeds. It's the perfect mix of sweet and savoury, and packed with umami thanks to the miso. Available to order now.

Blueberry white chocolate cookies are back this month! These buttery cookies are filled with soft and chewy dried blueberries and big chunks of milky white chocolate crumble. Available to order now.

Orders are back open for next week, including this fabulous new cake! Key Lime Pie Cake is a zingy twist on the classic lemon drizzle, with a moist and intensely citrussy cake topped with a zesty lime glaze and a homemade graham cracker crumble (and yes, I do have to use normal limes due to the lack of key limes in this country, but I promise it still tastes just like key lime pie). A perfect summery treat for the hot weeks ahead!

I've got two summery sweet specials for you this June: strawberry buns made with homemade strawberry jam and a custard flavoured butter/sugar swirl, topped with a fruity strawberry icing, and lemon white chocolate cookies, which are basically like a zesty lemon drizzle cake in cookie form (+white chocolate because I love it with anything lemony). Available now!

New month, new specials, like this New Potato and Parsley Pesto Focaccia topped with buttery Jersey Royals and an herby parsley and walnut pesto (part of me feels that if I'm using Jersey produce, I should have gone full Bergerac and done a "Nettles" pesto, but I don't really want to forage for nettles for the sake of a pun that probably only I think is funny). Also, please note that I will be open next week, but closed the week of the 14th of May.

Hot cross buns may be gone for the year, but I've replaced them with almond buns so you can still get your fill of buttery soft buns (although as a raisin hater I have to admit that I much prefer these to HCBs)! These fluffy buns with a hint of orange zest are swirled with a sweet almond frangipane and topped with a vanilla glaze and toasted almonds. Available til the end of April.
