Angel Blessings Quality Home Baking

Angel Blessings was an idea a little while back to bake and raise money for a fundraiser we were doing on 19th October 2018.

The Evening of Mediumship was being held in Memory of our Mum’s Partner Roddy Carson. 600 packs of shortbread were made and have sold at £1 each.

With many of Billy’s Medium friends donating their time free, the total raised on the evening was £4000 to be split with The Beatson Cancer Charity and The Ayrshire Hospice. Both were Services that were used during Roddy’s illness.

Billy is a City and Guilds qualified Baker and Kay, his sister also has many qualifications and awards in the catering industry. They have both worked in hotels, restaurants, catering, bars and their own shops stretching back decades.

We have made the decision to continue baking with all of the profits going to The Beatson. So as a working Medium every Church and event that Billy Serves now there will be baking available to buy and also available to order for Special Occasions like Christmas.

Every item is made with the best of ingredients and will be available at a price that is both competitive and also great value. Everything will be supplied in sealed bags or packs, that way there is no chance of contamination to the food.

If there is something that you would like to see or buy please let us know and we will do our best to help. We are obviously not a factory so every item is unique, there maybe differences in shape but to the best of our ability every pack will contain the same weight of product.

Roddy loved Billy and Kay’s baking, so the hope is over the coming years to continue to raise funds for a very worthwhile Charity that helps so many people in many different ways.

Unfortunately Cancer is a part of nearly every families lives now and our family feels the need to try and help others in any way we can, in recent years we have had quite a few very hard bereavements due to the illness.

Also a younger family member has just finished 6 weeks of Radio therapy at the Beatson, so it is not always about family or friends who die. The Beatson strive to improve the quality of life that people with the illness endure while living normal everyday lives, its just that they are having treatment.

It can impact life in many ways, affecting work, relationships and mental health to name a few. So every penny is truly a prisoner in the fight against this horrible disease. Even if you don’t eat cakes, buy some for a friend.

Our promise to you is that as much as possible will be given from the sale of every packet after costs. So every time you purchase one of our packets you are helping The Beatson to help others.
