Just a short intro to those new to my page 🙂
My name is Chantelle and I am the heart behind Chef C & Crew.
I have been a qualified chef for the last 20 years. Never just a baker, I absolutely love everything about being a chef. Baking cakes just happens to be where I can express my creativity. Being able to create recipes from scratch really brings me joy. No cake is ever the same as the next as each order is custom made to incorporate a client's favorite chocolate or dessert. My heart delights in the faces of clients when they see their cakes 😎
I moved to Scotland from South Africa 2 years ago with the heart to give my boys opportunities to grow and explore the world.
My boys are the ones in charge of quality control 🤭and their constructive criticism keeps me in check lol and they're always eager to help with deliveries if it includes a sample lol 🤣

What a special order...
Just a man spoiling his wife and expressing how proud he is of her ❤️
The special lady has worked for Disney before and Eeyore is her favorite and she absolutely loves the galaxy chocolate so all that got incorporated into this cake.
Decadent double chocolate sponge with hints of Italian espresso to accentuate the chocolate layered with a silky smooth galaxy cream filling layered on creamy caramel, covered in a marshmallow fluff swiss meringue buttercream 😋

Traditional South African desserts...these are staples back in South Africa.
Being able to create these for clients knowing it sends them on a nostalgic journey, absolutely warms my heart ❤️
Peppermint Crisp Tart - fresh cream laced with caramel and mint chocolate layered with coconut biscuits.
Milk Tart- a delicious filling made with kitchen staples like egg, milk, butter & sugar with a generous amount of cinnamon to balance the flavors. Traditionally set in a shortcrust pastry or coconut biscuit crust.

What I love most about personalizing orders is the ability to create every recipe from scratch in order to incorporate a client's preferences.
This lovely lady requested a Milkybar cake with loads of Milkybar. What a lovely 1st birthday cake for her precious little one ❤️
Moist milkybar sponge filled with a creamy milkybar cream filling, covered in a subtle vanilla & milkybar Swiss meringue buttercream 😋with edible parts for her little obe to pick and snack on.

This was such a delight to create😍
Bold colors of mustard and navy for a very special lady entering her 40s era of grace & boldness 😎
A big cake to feed a crowd...4 layers of fluffy victoria sponge, decadent chocolate with hints of Italian espresso to accentuate the chocolate, moist red velvet, all filled with a berry coulis cream filling, covered in a silky Madagascan vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream. Your taste buds will have a party with that 😉😋

Valentines Cupcake boxes with an assortment of cupcakes (double chocolate, vanilla, berries & cream and Nutella).
These are not your regular cupcakes, they’re absolutely gourmet 😋

It’s my favourite buttercream…the royalty of them all…Swiss meringue buttercream😋, it’s silky smooth texture is complimented with a creaminess with a touch of sweetness. I love it because it’s not extremely sweet like other varieties🙂and it can be made into any flavour 😎
