What a lovely thing to do 🩷

Due to the weather, we’ve not sold as many roasts as usual today…

We really don’t want these meals to go to waste, so we are giving them away. Just ONE condition, we’d like them to go to people who just couldn’t usually afford to go out for a nice meal.

As long as you can get to the Bay View before 6pm, there is a roast dinner waiting for you. You don’t even need to buy a drink, we want nothing in return.

If you know someone who has been struggling of late and are local enough to get to the Bay View before 6pm, just give us a call and we’ll book you in.

A CCTV image has been issued by our officers who are investigating a report of an assault and criminal damage to a bus in . The incident happened as the vehicle was stationary at traffic lights in London Road, at around 4.45pm on Tuesday 22 April 2025.

A suspect tried to get on the bus and, when the driver refused, it is alleged a window was smashed. The driver received multiple cuts from shards of glass. An investigation is underway and our officers are issuing an image of a man who believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises him, or who has information that may assist the investigation should call us on 01795 419119, quoting reference 46/66978/25. Motorists with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also asked to check for relevant footage.
