"IMPORTANT & SAD ANNOUNCEMENT"
For millions of people in britain right now the cost of living has increased dramaticly this has lead to increases in price for just about everything we buy and with the energy bills now soaring the world is a hard place right now for a small buinsess like mine....it is therefore with great sadness that I have had to make the decision to close at the end of this year 😪.
I'm gutted and it's taken a lot of time to finally decide to give it up, I have put so many years, self taught training, blood, sweat and yes tears into it and i couldn't let it go easily.
This is not a decision i have come to lightly but unfortunately the business just hasn’t come out of covid and the financal strains of the late. This has been the hardest and most exhausting decision I’ve ever had to make, but simply put it costs me alot of time and money to make the cakes I provide and I am now in a situation where because of the financial burden on everyone these days, more and more people are turning away from high quality products like mine in favour of cheap, low quality, mass produced factory cakes from supermarkets that "do the job" for birthdays etc ...its not anyones fault (I too am in the same situation with trying to cut monthy costs) but realistically i would have to charge a silly amount for my cakes to have any chance of a sustainable income for me and my family and the simple fact is that the demand just isnt there 😪

Finally the biggest thank you to my now HUSBAND (still feels strange saying it) , i know how stressful it has been for not only me but for you! Dealing with my late nights and early mornings, the messy kitchen, last minute orders, running late, sitting in traffic for hours on end 🤣 things going wrong, and just the overall stress it has been recently. None of this would’ve been possible without you, you were my biggest supporter, the one who pushed me to start this business and the one that kept me going when I wanted to give up, I will be forever grateful to you for it all.
Those who know me will understand how hard this is for me, I will be taking some time for me in the new year as i start a full time roll in my job and hoping to move on to bigger and better things but taking care of myself at same time! Who knows what the future holds ♥️
It will be business as usual until Christmas Eve after which I am taking no further cake bookings.
Any orders booked in will be completed so please don't be stressing about that 😊
