I wanted this one to feel gentle and quiet, like that moment when the water is almost still and everything slows down.

Inspired by Monet and the softness of impressionist gardens and the way light settles across the surface.

Tides of Light (Triptych)

This three-piece series explores the shifting relationship between sea, sky and light during moments of transition. Moving from deep twilight tones to soft pastel reflections, each painting captures a different mood within the same coastal landscape. Through layered brushwork and subtle colour harmonies, the works invite quiet reflection, creating a visual journey from intensity to calm.

A little life update 💫
After years of creating beautiful cakes and following my relocation to the Isle of Wight, I’ve followed my heart back to painting and am now focusing on my journey as an artist.

This page will now be sharing my artwork, exhibitions and creative process. My cake work will always be part of my story, but I’m no longer taking orders.

These paintings are my first official series, Tides of Light, exploring changing skies, the movement of water and the quiet moments between day and night. Inspired by the coastlines of Devon and the Isle of Wight, each piece reflects emotional connection through colour and atmosphere.

This series marks the beginning of a new creative chapter for me and I’m so excited to share it with you 🤍🎨🌊
