This one was made with so much heart — for me, to mark turning this wonderful new chapter! 🎂

It was meant to have a little secret message…

But I never got to finish adding it. I was too wrapped up in all the love and warmth I felt yesterday!

Even without the final touch, I’m so proud of how it turned out, soft dreamy pastels, mix of textures and piping styles, and inside? Deep, rich chocolate sponge, layered with silky chocolate ganache and smooth buttercream filling.

It’s exactly the kind of bake I love creating. Thoughtful, delicious, and full of care — just like every cake I make for you.

This Saturday I hit the big 3-0. 🥴

I’m not going to lie, I am dreading it. But then I looked back at all these bakes I’ve made over the years, remembered why I started Elcies Bakes, and realised maybe 30 isn’t old… maybe I’m just fully baked! 🤣

Can’t wait to get back to creating, baking, and turning your favourite ideas into something delicious.

And yes… I do apologise in advance for exactly what my own birthday cake is going to say! 😂
