🚨 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

The oven is being switched off, the mixers are being abandoned and, quite frankly, I’m clocking off. 😂

I’m taking a very well-earned little break from 28th August until 6th September, slightly earlier than planned, because apparently even brownie ladies need to remember that they are, in fact, human. 🤷‍♀️

There will be NO baking, packing, labelling or frantic “where the bloody hell did I put that box?” going on around here for a few days. 😆

BUT… don’t panic! Your local brownie emergency services remain operational. 😂
🍫 Wilton Farm Shop will be restocked as usual, so you can still get your brownie fix while I’m off gallivanting.

The website will remain open for orders while I’m away, but postal orders will be despatched from 10th September. 📦

So if you’ve got brownies on your mind, get your orders in, or pop along to Wilton Farm Shop.😉

Right. Time to put my feet up. I’ll be back with a fully recharged brownie making brain and, hopefully, a slightly reduced caffeine dependency. ☕️

I completely forgot that i need a “cut off” time for orders 24 hours before …

The dough i make is freshly made and I don’t want to waste lots of dough / toppings

Maybe I will get to a point where I don’t need to take pre orders but at the moment it’s the best way of minimising waste

Order cut off will be 6pm today - would love to see a few more orders in for this week 🫶🏼🔥

Today I’ve been busy putting together a rather lovely order of my Brownie Graze Boxes for Brecks Vineyard’s Summer Sunday! 🍷🌿

Inside each box you’ll find:
🤎 My signature Triple Chocolate Brownie
🥨 Chocolate-covered pretzels
🍓 Juicy British strawberries
🍫 A pot of chocolate dip for good measure!

Honestly… the perfect little accompaniment to a sunny afternoon at the vineyard. ☀️

Not every hero wears a cape… some wear a whisk. 🤎

Meet the very first mixer I bought for The Norfolk Brownie Box. She might not be my main mixer anymore (the Kenwood has taken over that role!), but I could never part with her.

Whenever life gets busy, orders start flying in and the kitchen is in full swing, she comes back out to work alongside the Kenwood. Double the mixers means double the brownie batter… and a lot more happy customers! 🍫

It’s funny looking back at where it all started. This mixer has been there through countless batches, recipe tweaks, late-night baking sessions and so many milestones. She might be getting on a bit now, but she’s definitely earned her place in the kitchen.

Does anyone else have a trusty old bit of kit they just can’t bring themselves to replace? ❤️
