I could actually cry!! 😭❤️

After all the hard work, the late nights, the endless baking, and all the blood, sweat and tears that go into running Kaylee’s Kitchen Bakes, I am SO proud to share that we have achieved a 5 STAR FOOD HYGIENE RATING — VERY GOOD! 🏆✨

Running a small business is not always easy, and behind every pie, sausage roll, Scotch egg and quiche is one very busy, occasionally stressed, but incredibly determined baker! 😂🥧

I have worked so hard to build this little business into what it is today, and this means more to me than I can put into words.

Thank you to every single person who buys my bakes, supports my business, shares my posts, recommends me to friends and helps make this dream a reality. You are all part of this journey, and I couldn’t do it without you. ❤️

You guys loved the fresh- frozen pies last week so we are all restocked again with a wider selection and even fruit pies added in, as well the normal cooked pies and snacks in the fridge as well. ☺️

🤎 A little proud moment…

I don’t usually do posts like this.

I’m actually quite rubbish at shouting about myself, my achievements or my business. I always feel like I’m going to be seen as showing off, or that someone will have something to say.

But do you know what?

I’m fu***ng proud of myself. 🤎

I’m proud of the woman I’ve become.
I’m proud of the business I’ve built.
I’m proud of how hard I work.
I’m proud of how I turn up.
And I’m proud of how I present myself and how much more confident I feel in my own skin.

Because building something from nothing isn’t easy.

There will always be people who doubt you.
People who watch but don’t support.
People who have opinions.
People who would rather talk about what you’re doing than actually cheer you on.

And that’s okay.

Because I’ve finally realised that their opinion doesn’t get to take away from my achievement.

I’ve worked bloody hard for this.

Kaylee’s Kitchen Bakes started as an idea, and it’s grown into something I’m genuinely incredibly proud of. Award-winning pies, markets, farm shops, wholesale, new opportunities, Christmas orders, and so many things I never imagined I’d be doing when I started.

And I’m allowed to say that.

I’m allowed to celebrate myself.

I’m allowed to be proud.

I’m allowed to look in the mirror and think “bloody hell, Kaylee… look what you’ve done.” 🥹🤎

So here’s to taking up a bit more space, backing myself a bit harder and not being afraid to big myself up anymore.

Because if I don’t celebrate how far I’ve come, who will?

Proud doesn’t mean arrogant.
Confidence doesn’t mean cocky.
And celebrating yourself doesn’t mean putting anyone else down.

I’m just finally learning to be proud of me. 🤎

🎄✨ CHRISTMAS HAMPER UPDATE! ✨🎄

The Christmas hamper orders are coming in and I just wanted to give you all a little update! ❤️

I’ve set a maximum of 100 Christmas hampers this year so I can make sure every single one is made, packed and ready with the care they deserve. 🎁

And already… 30 hampers have been booked! 😱🥰

That means I’ve only got 70 hampers remaining!

🎄 ORDER CUT-OFF: 14th December 🎄

After the 14th I’ll be closing orders so I can get everything organised, ingredients ordered and all those lovely hampers prepared ready for Christmas. 🎅🏻❤️

🌅 A little reminder to fill my own cup too…

Yesterday morning I finally put the kitchen away, stepped away from the baking and took some time for me and the girls. 🐶❤️

And honestly… it was exactly what I needed.

When you’re building a business that you love, it’s so easy to constantly think about the next order, the next market, the next bake, the next thing on the to-do list. And sometimes you don’t even realise how long it’s been since you just stopped and enjoyed life.

Yesterday was a little reminder that I need to make more time for this. 🌊☀️

More walks.
More fresh air.
More adventures with the girls.
More little moments that make me smile.
More time to just be Kaylee, not just the person behind Kaylee’s Kitchen. ❤️

I’m incredibly proud of what this little business has grown into and I’m so excited to keep building it into the success I know it can be.

But I also want to make sure that while I’m building the business, I’m still building a life I love too.

So here’s to filling my cup with more of these moments, because a happy me makes for a happier life — and hopefully an even better business. 🥰

Sometimes stepping away for a little while is exactly what you need to come back feeling inspired again. ❤️🌊
