Evening all. Well I don't know about you but these past few days have got me in the summer mood so today I baked me some Mojito cupcakes. They're made in the style of the cocktail with lime, mint and white rum and they are delisio. So I've decided not be selfish and make some more as a giveaway prize to TWO of my lucky likers. When I reach 100 likers I will pick 2 names out of a hat and 2 people will win 6 of these lovelies each. So here at last is the picnic goody I promised - the most glorious Egg and Bacon pie! Tastes lovely hot but even better cold from the fridge. I'll be posting the recipe in my notes today so keep your eyes peeled. The recipe calls for you to make your own pastry but I cheat and use shop bought because pastry is my nemesis and it all usually ends in tears (and the bin) whenever I try to make it. Let me know if you make one, I'd love to know what you think of it. X

Good evening folks! I've had a lovely sunny day at home with the kids. We all made some mini cupcakes and it was sprinkle heaven in our kitchen. Normally, I'm a bit of a control freak when I'm baking with the kids but I think the sunshine reached the happy parts of my brain today and I didn't care about the mess/not doing it perfectly!

Anyway, spoiler alert: *I'll be baking something for the Grown Ups this week which I'm very excited about. I'll share the pictures with you and may also do a bit of a giveaway. I'll also be posting a recipe which is perfect for picnics.* Stay tuned.
