Good Morning All.

I may finally have the pages name changed after battling with FB for a while over this.

The new name is my official business name.

Just a quick update, in the last 6 months I've registered with environmental health and they're very happy with what I'm producing and how. I've also updated my Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Allergy Awareness certificates and am working hard to achieve level 3 standard.

The website is so close to being completed so do watch this space.

I am taking regular pre orders for Wednesday's and Friday's weekly bake box.

I have had an influx of new customers so at present we are at capacity and orders are taken on a first come first serve basis.

I am soon to be a proud owner of a lovely Rackmaster24! Excited doesn't even cover how I feel about this next step.

I have also had confirmation that we have a table at this year's Helmsdale Highland Games!

The baking may be on hold for a little while as I recover from a small hand operation but the training continues. Our eldest mastering the yeasted loaf.

From January 10th all flours milled in the UK or to be sold to the UK will be dosed with folic acid.

The amount dosed far exceed that of which we need.

Data shows that regularly eating flour based products containing this amount of folic acid (bread, pasta, cakes, biscuits etc etc) will increase your chances of:
*Cancer, specifically breast, colon and prostate.
*Masking of B12 deficiency
*Various neurological and immune issues including and not exclusively to reduced natural killer (NK) cell activity, cognitive issues in the elderly, developmental effects in children exposed in utero.

Folic acid isn't natural, FOLATE is. Most adults acquire sufficient folate through a balanced diet of mixed foods including leafy greens, legumes, meat etc.

I am refusing to use any flours with this added and I will try my best to limit the exposure my family has to it in other products.

I'm backing The Real Bread Campaign. It's time we all support them and their drive to restore our food to a real and natural state.
