♥️ Core & Pelvic Floor Health: It's About So Much More Than Kegels ✨
When people hear pelvic floor exercises, they often think of squeezing and releasing the pelvic floor muscles. But true core and pelvic floor wellness is much more than that.
A healthy, functional core is a team effort involving the abdominal muscles, back, diaphragm, glutes, and pelvic floor all working together in harmony. Breath plays a huge role too, as the way we breathe directly influences how our core and pelvic floor function and support us throughout daily life.
Pelvic health also extends beyond exercise alone. Bladder and bowel habits, posture, movement patterns, pressure management, and understanding how to work with your body all contribute to long-term wellbeing.
I'm currently putting the finishing touches to my new Core & Floor Essentials “On Demand” Programme, and I'll also be running a workshop on Thursday 18th June at 10:45am for anyone who would like to learn more about supporting their pelvic health.
