Christmas treats 🎄

Christmas isn't just the 25th December, and this year more than ever its important to take some extra time to celebrate and see friends & family 🥰🎄

The perfect way to spread some extra cheer - a box full of cookies🍪, tiffin, brownies🍫, lemon drizzle cake 🍋 and an extra cake on the side just incase the box isn't enough!

Keep it simple...🎂

This week we have kept it simple for 2 birthday cakes, the first being a classic Red Velvet cake (perfect for a Halloween vampire🔴) and holding on to a little bit of summer with a refreshing Lemon and Raspberry cake!🍋

😍🌟SPECIAL REQUEST🌟😍

This week I was asked to make a little boys 10th birthday cake, he picked coffee and walnut cake - but needed it to be dairy free!☕🚫
His auntie also required a special cake, and they picked a summer favourite of Lemon and Raspberry!🍋🍰 ... this cake not only needed to be dairy free, but also gluten free!🚫
Despite worrying about using the gluten free substitute flour, I am very happy with how it came out...and the practice slice was definitely worth the calories😍🤤

*those who requested the cakes know that these were made in a kitchen with gluten and dairy presence, but all precautions to avoid contamination were taking

What's better?!🤷‍♀️ A box full of sweet treats or the view of Newgale at sunset?!😍

We might be slight biased, but the answer is both together😍👌

This little box of goodie was given as thank you and good bye to a nursery teacher last week, having some brownie, tiffin, cookies, miniature Bara brith as well as the new miniature lemon drizzles too!🍋

When Tractors and Postman Pat are your 2 favourite things!🚜📮

This weekend was very busy for me with both jobs and also making sure that there were plenty of cakes available for you guys to buy from but also making sure these 2 special cakes were ready for a Teddy Bears picnic birthday party too! 🧸

Playing with Pat was a lot more fun than smiling for a photo 👱‍♂️📷

Pat and his friends were sat on a lovely Victoria sponge with strawberry jam and buttercream, and the tractor stuck in the chocolate buttercream mud was upon chocolate sponges!🍫🍰

SUMMERS COMING 🎉🌞 (well we hope anyway)

With school terms coming to an end soon and little ones moving from nursery to primary or on to secondary school why not treat your teachers to a selection box of sweet treats to show your appreciation for what's been a strange year for all 👨‍🏫👩‍🏫

This lemon sponge cake has gone with a little boy to his last day in Tots to say thank you for all they have done for him over the year!🙏🙋‍♂️🍋

HAPPY SUNDAY 🌞
Sorry its been quiet here recently, due to technology struggles and a lack of time its been hard....but fear not, the kitchen has been busy and plenty of Cegin Derw cakes have been made!😍🎂

Take a look at this office birthday sweet treat spread, Lemon Sponge topped with raspberries 🍋, Malteser tiffin, Chocolate Browines 🍫, Lemon drizzle cake 🍋 and a selection of Bara Brith original and Orange🍊

Perfect mini spread for the current times with members of staff starting to return to the office!

When life gives you lemons, make lemon drizzle cake 🍋 and then everything is a piece of cake!🍰

An odd 2 weeks here has allowed time for rest, restocking the cupboards with ingredients and the table in the Farm Shop, as well as time with the family! ☀️🚜

As well as the full size sponges, you can now get half a sponge at incase a full one is too much, even if there is no such thing as too much cake!🍰😍
