About last night....

We had the most amazing night at the Hartlepool Business Forum awards, where I was nominated for 2 categories.

Sadly I didn't bring an award home but to be shortlisted for 2 categories was completely unexpected and amazing πŸ˜€

Great to see our family member will pick up an award for his new business Sweat Recovery Zone πŸ’ͺ🏻 well deserved!

It was also lovely to get to celebrate the night with family and catch up with people I havent seen in ages!

Welcome to Cake King! I'm Josh and I've been making cakes since 2014.

Over 2026 and 2027, my focus will mainly be on corporate cakes, for companies who want scroll stopping cakes for their clients and marketing campaigns.

I'm based in Hartlepool, North East England.

Yorkshire Tea Cake πŸ«–πŸ΅

This week I made a Yorkshire Tea box cake out of Vanilla sponge cake.
I then added a mug of tea and biscuits, which were all made out of icing.

The cake was filled with Vanilla buttercream and Strawberry jamπŸ“πŸ“

This cake was made for one of my returning clients. Hope you all had a fab day celebrating Sean's 50th birthday!

What a way to start the second half of the year.

I came back from holiday to find out that I had been shortlisted for not one.. but two awards at this year's Hartlepool business awards.
