We're only human! We all make mistakes!
What I've learnt, is that from each mistake something great happens!

A short while ago, a customer of mine mistakenly gave me the wrong date for her order, and I ended up with a cake for 60 people. My whole family love cake, but there's only so much you can eat 😂 I gave some to my parents, some to my sister, left some for myself and my partner... And then what?! I ended up selling a few pieces, meeting some neighbours when I walked around sharing pieces of cake with them, and donating the rest to a care home near me!

When your daughter loves 'Padi' more than anything! 🤭🐻

There wa sonly one option for my daughters first birthday cake, it just had to be Paddington! So this is a little handpainted Paddington Bear, using all natural colourings and flavourings, filled with fresh cream and fruit 🎉🎂

Making this cake reminded me of so many amazing places I have visited myself and definitely reignited that flame.
Travel and a love for exploring are things I definitely want to show my daughter! Off I go to plan our next adventure. The world is our oyster as they say! 🗺️❤️

When you're bestie has a baby, you cannot celebrate without a cake 😁🎉🎂

Starting to use all natural ingredients. For colour, I've now moved to using plant based food colouring. For sweetening, instead of white caster sugar, I am starting to use other things like honey or coconut sugar, which actually have a list of benefits, including being anti inflammatory, containing minerals, low glycemic index and have zero chemicals!

You don't have to eat less cake, you just have to eat the right cake! 😉
