Well here it is!! My first three tier wedding cake!
I’ve said it many times but it’s a huge honour to be asked to make a wedding cake, let alone being trusted enough to take your skills to the next level!

J & D are literally the nicest couple and we are lucky to have them as our neighbours. They put so much confidence and faith into me to make their cake and for that I am forever grateful.

We wish you both so much happiness for your future together 🩵🤍

There will be many more posts to come including stacking, adding the colour and the ever-so-terrifying transportation so stay tuned!

Photographer: Rachel Donnelly Photography
Venue: Weetons

10” Bottom Tier - Vanilla sponge with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream
8” Middle Tier - Lemon sponge with lemon curd and lemon buttercream
6” Top Tier - Chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream

I get major ‘Carol Vorderman Countdown’ vibes when sticking our business stickers on the cake boxes - you know the numbers round when she’d select the cards for the contestants 😆 Showing my age, I know!

Safety obviously comes first but moves like this van really test the nerves when you’ve got two wedding cakes in the car. The audio conceals my angry vocalising! 🤬

We’ve been part of some truly lovely weddings this year and V & A’s was no exception, being held at the stunning Wharfedale Grange
They opted for a 6” cake, personalised cupcakes and bitesize pieces of our traybakes.

Thank you for choosing us - we wish you a lifetime of happiness 💙🤍

Happy Birthday to my (still!) long-suffering hubby! Even on HIS birthday he’s looked after me, due to having a little too much vino last night 🙈 What a legend 🩷 🥰
