Order / enquire online: www.madebyadele.com Made by Adele creates unique, natural and handcrafted cakes, perfect for any occasion. My love of pastry was inevitable having spent my younger years baking with my mother, in awe of her birthday cake creations for my older sister and I. Growing up, the path between the kitchen and dinner table was well trodden, so it was no surprise that once I got into

the food industry I was hooked. I spent over 15 years working in food development for some of the UK’s most recognised retailers and restaurants, until my love of creating food for other people led me to my own business. I started Made by Adele in 2020 and operate at my registered home micro bakery in Hampton. I hold a CTH Diploma in Culinary Arts, having been trained by a michelin star chef, and an Advanced Level 4 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate. Every cake is delicious, beautiful, carefully designed and handcrafted by me. You will never see the same cake twice. Every element of my cakes and decorations are entirely handmade and natural; never processed, no colourings, preservatives or artificial flavourings and you will never find fondant in my kitchen. Provenance and quality are key to my products and I use the highest quality ingredients that I can get my hands on. I use organic Shipton Mill British flour, organic single origin cocoa, fair trade sugar, free range eggs, responsibly sourced real Madagascan Little Pod Vanilla, and finest sustainable Belgian chocolate. Flowers, fruits and herbs are often organically homegrown and other fruit and vegetables are sustainably sourced where possible. Seasonal produce lies at the heart of my business and I offer products to reflect the seasons, showcasing the best of British produce with a regularly changing menu. I try to source local products as much as possible, such as honey from Bramble Hill Farm in Walton, stout from Big Smoke Brewery in Esher and coffee from London Roasteries such as Old Spike - the UK’s first social enterprise speciality coffee roaster. For me, nothing is better than sharing delicious and beautiful cake whilst making memories with my friends and family and I hope to be able to create this for you. Eat cake, make memories.

CREATIVE EXPERIENCE.

One of my favourites from last year .events (slowly catching up…) V&A wanted a botanical, tropical vibe so off I went searching for dragonfruit’s (which turned out to be pink inside!), grew some variegated nasturtiums & nigella (Yep) and got all the rest from - fire feather, monkey, paradise and snapdragons. I don’t usually do stencils but this one was cool (code for - stressful).

I knew the rough theme they were going for but never spoke to their florist and never got a colour palette image beforehand - I knew from creative experience what would work well for their cake - V&A trusted me to bring their vision to life. It wasn’t until I walked into the room to set up, just how accurately I had captured their brief - with the cake colours blending seamlessly with their flowers by

Unlike some “cake designers” (I use inverted commas because I AM NOT A CAKE DESIGNER) I don’t provide sketches. I work within (sometimes limited!) boundaries and my clients trust me to capture their brief and execute their ideas using my experience and what I think will work. Clients work with me because it’s stress free - leave the details to me.

INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY 2026
I'm sure many of you have been wondering "What is Adele up to for this year... isn't she leaving it a bit late?" You'd be correct - I would never let IWD pass without marking it somehow, & also correct in that I've left it very late. BUT, better late than never, right?

This years IWD theme is "Give to gain" - encouraging the mindset of generosity & collaboration. Whilst I don't have a huge amount to give, I *can* give the joy of cake whilst donating some funds, no matter how big or small, to a female led charity that will do more good than the cake will for your waistline.

So, I'm hosting an online raffle in aid of (a UK charity campaigning for women's rights & gender equality) and will be giving away a postal tasting box (worth £41 (£43 with gift card)) to one lucky raffle ticket winner! For details on the postal box, visit my website. The winner will be contacted by email - you have the option of receiving it yourself or gifting it to a female of your choice. The box will be sent with the next dispatch in late April & can be to any UK address.

The winner will be drawn at 8pm on International Women's Day: Sunday 8th March @ will be notified via email. I'll also announce the winner on social media channels.

Funds will be donated to - a charity campaigning for women's rights &gender equality, creating positive change by challenging the systems that drive misogyny & inequality.

Enter the raffle using my link in bio. The more times you enter the more chance you have of winning. Tickets start at £2.50 each.

Looking back at some of 2025 to some of the most beautiful venues
K&G went for a Black Forest inspired Dark chocolate, cherry & vanilla bean cake and a St. Clements inspired top tier combining bright orange and lemon flavours, enrobed with rice paper sails & gold leaf accents.

"Our wedding cake was exceptional. Adele only uses natural ingredients so everything tastes so fresh and amazing, the design of the cake was also stunning. Adele is friendly and professional as well as a master baker and cake artist. We would highly recommend!"

Italian style single tier cakes were all the rage last year and remaining popular for 2026 - I am ALL here for them. Autumnal fruit for M&G adorning a blackberry bay ruby chocolate and pistachio, rose & raspberry cake.

Most of my 2025 work isn't on the grid yet so let's fix that shall we.

A long sheet cake was the brief from L&J in an autumnal, informal and modern style. Apple, brown butter & cinnamon inside, scattered edible flowers, herbs, squiggly piping, apple crisps & baby apples from my tree on the outside.

"a MASSIVE thank you for making our day yesterday so incredibly special. The cake was more beautiful than any of the inspo pics or what we could have imagined. It tasted delicious & our guests were raving about it. "
Thank you L&J
(Also how cool is !)

07/01/2026

Everywhere I see people posting their 2025 reflections, summaries or highlights & what 2026 holds for them. I can't even wrap my head around where 2025 even went. A lot happened. There were a few highs, but many lows. 1 year ago today I underwent bilateral wrist surgery to try & resolve a tendon problem that had caused me pain for years. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through. My freedom was stripped: I couldn't leave the house, feed myself, wash my hair, dress myself, or make a cup of tea. I had to rely, for the first time in my self employed life, on other people to keep my business afloat. I had to do a lot of mitigating, prioritising & adjusting. I had to listen to my body & adapt plans as I went. I had to sacrifice a lot of things I love to do, and am still sacrificing, and navigate physical limitations. 2025 was a year of surviving. Emotionally. Physically. Financially.
But it was also a year of realising that I have single handedly (no pun intended because I had no useful hands for months!) built a community. A community that loves my work & supports small & local. So many customers have reached out, said they missed my cakes, came to my door to buy anything & everything at a moment's notice, who sent me a Christmas card, who sent me a text or email to say how much they loved my work or telling me I should open a shop (FYI this definitely will not happen!).
It's been quite overwhelming to realise this & it's been the result of 5 years of hard work. The economic climate is stacked against small businesses with rising costs, cost of living crisis & a crowded market. I never intended for this business to be what it is today, but here I am, & I'm really proud to still be here.
I don't have anything to say about the year ahead to be honest because my brain isn't quite there but it isn't a surprise to say it'll be full of creating cakes, beautiful bakes, delicious desserts & tasty treats, as always.

CHRISTMAS 2025.
275 individual Christmas products.
33kg of handmade goodies.
6kg of glazed gingerbread.
4.5kg of vanilla sea salt fudge.
4.2kg of raspberry blackcurrant marshmallows (and a LOT of sucre neige).
3.7kg of lemon cardamom shortbread.
3.5kg of coconut, pumpkin seed, buckwheat kasha brittle.
3.5kg of almond, orange & fennel seed biscotti.
3kg of dark chocolate honeycomb
3.2kg of hazelnut amaretti
1.7kg of cacao nib chocolate chip shortbread
47 very happy customers
2 tired legs (and pretty sure RSI from glazing)
1 154 degree c sugar burn (really quite painful)
Zero tears (a contrast to the nightmare of 2024)

It's been my busiest Christmas to date and I'm SO grateful for everyone who supports this small local business (and those less local with parcels going up to Sheffield and down to Cornwall!). I definitely did not realise just how much you love these treats. I genuinely feel the pressure living up to expectations! This sounds cringey but it's incredibly fulfilling knowing that everything made with these (tired) hands is eagerly shared (or not shared!) and brings you all some joy :) THANK YOU.

Christmas for me is about spending time with family, eating great food and enjoying some downtime out in nature, in the yoga studio and in my own kitchen. Whatever you're up to, have a restful Christmas!
