A little update from me 🤍
After a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to close my cake business and will no longer be taking on any new orders.
Please don’t worry if you already have a cake booked with me — all existing bookings will still be fulfilled as planned. 🤍
I’ve absolutely loved creating cakes for so many of your special occasions, and I’m incredibly grateful to every single person who has ordered from me, recommended me, shared my work or supported my little business.
But behind the scenes, I’m juggling two jobs alongside being a mum to two little ones, one of whom has additional needs. Cake making takes a huge amount of time, pressure and mental energy, and unfortunately the financial return just isn’t enough to justify the anxiety and stress that comes with running the business anymore.
As hard as it is to admit, I need to prioritise my family, my time and my own wellbeing, and I know this is the right decision for us. 🤍
I’m really proud of everything I’ve created and achieved over the years, and so incredibly thankful that you trusted me to make cakes for some of your most special moments. 🥹🎂
So this isn’t an immediate goodbye — I still have some lovely cakes in the diary that I’m really looking forward to making! But from today, my order book is officially closed to any new bookings.
I couldn’t share this post without looking back at some of the cakes I’ve made over the past two years that have made me especially proud. 🥹✨ Each one holds a little memory for me, and looking back at them reminds me just how far I’ve come and how much I’ve achieved.
Thank you so much to every single person who has ordered from me, recommended me, shared my work, liked a post or simply supported me along the way. It has meant more to me than you’ll probably ever realise. 🤍
I’m so proud of this little business and everything it became — and even prouder that I can close this chapter knowing I gave it my all. 🎂🤍
