Vanilla sponge and chocolate filling. I winged it on the rainbow texture, thought it would look cute and different and I loved how it turned out!
Side note - The cake nearly didn’t make it… we delivered it as we were attending the party and it may have cost us a red light 😂 things we do for cake … no ticket yet tho 🫣🤞🏼

So between having a baby, adjusting to having 2 and doing a friends wedding cake.. I wasn’t prepared for my nans 90th at all🤦🏽‍♀️

Well thank goodness for left over buttercream and beautiful roses in my garden! Oh and the cut up and stuck back together old toppers to make 90 (sorry ) 😂

I had the honour of making our friends wedding cake last Saturday at the beautiful . I was so excited about the theme of mixed pinks, oranges and gold along with textures to resemble petals and gold leaf 🍂

They went for classic Victoria sponge for the top tier and for the bottom chocolate sponge, chocolate buttercream and raspberry jam.

Pretty proud of this one, especially with a toddler and newborn in tow 😅

Yay to the Encanto cake order! Been buzzing for it. I know us bakers say it a lot, but we love a ‘free rein’ without any specifics🥰
Proud of this, seeing the movie once before the order and not looking up any cakes for inspo, I just went with it! Enjoyed it that way soo much more than the pressure of what others have already done 💗

Inside was double choc chip sponge, vanilla icing and cookies and cream filling 🍰
