This is what cake makers are dealing with daily. It’s so frustrating!

I am going to be making some BIG changes to my business and will be updating you on those later this week. It’s time to stop bending and pleasing everyone and start taking care of myself.

Cake pricing education day!

(It's not actually a thing/day... but today I am calling it a thing haha!)

An average custom cake would normally range between £85-£140 for something standard with approx 15-20 portions. Prices vary from baker to baker and location can also affect that... but don't expect to pay £30!

Two very different but equally beautiful wedding cakes delivered today!

Cake 1 is a 2 tier vintage heart cake in lemon and blueberry, and chocolate tiers decorated with lots of pretty piping details, and was delivered to Wytham Village Hall. The set up for the day was beautiful, with gorgeous florals and colourful ribbon detailing strung from the ceiling, such a pretty theme! 🌷

Cake 2 is a classic and elegant 3 tier cake with a textured buttercream covering and classic white roses to decorate. This entire cake was a sweet and zesty lemon drizzle cake! A lemon sponge made with fresh lemon juice and zest, drizzled with a fresh lemon and sugar drizzle, and filled with smooth lemon buttercream and a gorgeous sharp lemon curd! 🍋 This cake was delivered and set up to the great dining hall at the gorgeous Keble College!

Delivered this rustic beauty to the isisfarmhouse yesterday, a gorgeous spot along the river just down from the Iffley Lock for a stunning wedding in the beautiful sunshine! ☀️

3 tiers in 12”, 9” and 6” in raspberry and white chocolate, lemon and blueberry (a fast new favourite flavour) and Victoria sponge with a mix of rustic texture and pretty floral stencilling.

The topper was designed by the bride and supplied by the wonderful ladies at burntisland_occasions.

💛💛Availability Update! 💛💛

Happy Saturday folks! I hope you are all ok! Anyone else had enough of this heatwave now or is it just me? lol 😂

I wanted to give you an update for my availability over the coming weeks.
I am now FULLY BOOKED for the whole of August, and the first 3 weeks of September.

I will be open from the 23rd September for very limited orders.

Right now I have a good amount of availability for October but I’m already getting equities so that will change very soon.

I can’t stress enough how important it is to get in touch with me early to book in your cakes, even if you don’t know what design you’d like yet, secure your slot to avoid disappointment, pretty please?! 🙏🏼

I absolutely hate having to turn people away but I am only one person so can only take on so much.

Can we just take a moment to admire this cake please? 😍 12 of the birthday girl’s favourite books to celebrate turning 40! Now, those who know me well will know how much I love to read, so being able to make this made me soooo happy!!! 😊 Not only do we have the book spines around the cake, but we have a miniature version of each one too, all fully edible!!! So happy with how it turned out, and the customers were too! ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🩷
