Just a quick post to my existing followers and a warm 👋 welcome to any new followers.

After 30 years living and working in south Wales, we’ve taken a huge leap and moved 600+ miles north to the beautiful Isle of Skye on the Waternish Peninsula.

To mark the move we’ve decided to change the name of the baking business from Rose Hip Bakes to Melys Brae…a nod to both our 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿roots and are new 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿home.

We’ve been here for a few months and are already supplying the local pub , started a pop-up cafe at the local village hall on a Thursday between 10-2 (just in case you’re in the area!).
