Summer Holiday Baking ☀️

Here's a little round-up of a few of the things that have come out of my kitchen over the past 6 weeks.

With my order books closed, it's been a quiet, chilled time (in terms of baking, not general life! My boys have kept me very busy! 😅). But September is [almost] here, my order books are wide open once more, and I'm ready and raring to get back to baking for you lovely lot!

Tiramisu Cookies

Soft ladyfinger-esqe cookies, glazed with coffee and coffee liquor, and topped with coffee liquor marscapone frosting.

This recipe was a random one I found online and wasn't actually my favourite -despite my love of all things tiramisu!- but, that's just a great excuse to head back into the kitchen armed with a new recipe, for attempt #2!

Well, that year passed in the blink of an eye! The littelest bean has just one year of nursery left, and the biggest bean flew through his first year of school! 🥺

There were so many people to thank for the successful, fun, and happy year the boys have had -from the teachers to the lollipop lady- so, of course, brownies and cake were needed! Because nothing says thank you like sugar and sprinkles! 😋
