Everything is still perfectly safe to eat — just not quite at its absolute best, so rather than let delicious bakes go to waste they’ve all been reduced to just £1.50 each today only ✨

If you’re local and looking for a lovely way to start your morning, head down to the Big Breakfast at Burrington Parish Hall today from 8am–12pm ☕🍳

A wonderful young girl, Jess, is fundraising for her Uganda trip and every bit of support really helps her get closer to her goal ❤️

I’ve donated lots of yummy cakes and sweet treats which will also be available to buy alongside the breakfasts 🍰✨

This Saturday 23rd May, Burrington Parish Hall will be hosting a Big Breakfast fundraiser in support of a local young girl raising money for her school trip to Uganda 🌍✨

I’m so pleased to be donating brownies, blondies and lots of yummy cake for her to sell on the day to help her get a little closer to her goal 🧁🍫

If you can, please pop along, grab some breakfast, a sweet treat and help support such an amazing opportunity for a young person in our local community. Every little bit really does make a difference 🤍

Still can’t quite believe I’m saying this… 🥹✨

Burrington’s Little Bakery officially received a LEVEL 5 food hygiene rating after an unannounced inspection 🤍

No warning, no prep time, just a knock at the door on a normal morning — which somehow makes me even prouder of this achievement.

Behind the scenes there’s so much work that goes into this little bakery:
✨ Cleaning schedules
✨ Allergen information
✨ Supplier records
✨ Food safety systems
✨ Organisation and prep

So having all of that recognised means the absolute world to me.

I’m very impatiently waiting for my shiny sticker to arrive in the post so I can proudly display it at events and in the sheds 👀⭐

Little business milestone today 🥹

My branded Burrington’s Little Bakery apron arrived and I honestly can’t wait to wear it proudly at upcoming events, markets and behind the cake sheds.

It might seem like a small thing, but moments like this make everything feel very real. From baking in my kitchen to building a brand I’m genuinely proud of 🤍

BIG baking day tomorrow 👀✨

Both Burrington and Braunton cake sheds will be getting a FULL restock ready for the weekend after a couple of unexpected days closed 🤍

I’ve got some exciting new flavours coming inspired by summer and honestly… some of them may be my favourites yet 😍☀️

Brownies, blondies, cookies, cookie pies, old school cake, lemon drizzle and more will all be making an appearance across the sheds.

Don’t forget I also take:
✨ Pre orders for collection from either cake shed

✨ Postal bake orders every week

Just a little update from me 🤍

Unfortunately I didn’t end up opening either cake shed today or Thursday as planned due to a sudden unexpected family issue that came up.

I’m really sorry for any disappointment caused over the last couple of days, especially to those who may have been hoping to visit the sheds.

Tomorrow I’ll be back baking and fully restocking both cake sheds ready for the weekend with lots of delicious mouthwatering flavours 😍✨

Just a reminder that I also take pre orders for any of my bakes for collection from either cake shed, as well as celebration cake orders too 🎂

Thank you all so much for the continued support, patience and understanding — I can’t wait to get the sheds filled back up again 🤍

WE DID IT 🤍✨

Today I had an unannounced food hygiene inspection… and somehow on a lazy morning with no warning at all, Burrington’s Little Bakery came away with a LEVEL 5 food hygiene rating 🥹

Honestly so proud right now.

Behind the brownies, cookies and cake shed there’s been a huge amount of work going into keeping everything clean, safe, organised and up to standard — from allergen information and supplier records to cleaning schedules and food safety systems — so seeing that hard work recognised means the world.

Thank you so much to everyone supporting my little bakery journey. This business has grown so much in such a short space of time and this feels like a massive milestone for me 🤍

Well… Braunton cake shed has been almost completely cleared out today 😅🫶

I honestly can’t thank everyone enough for the support lately — seeing people coming back for more, tagging friends and making special trips to the sheds genuinely means the world to me.

Don’t panic if you missed out though… both Braunton & Burrington cake sheds will be fully restocked tomorrow morning with lots of fresh goodies including brownies, blondies, cookies, cookie pie, old school cake and more 👀🍰

Once it’s gone, it’s gone… so get there early tomorrow 😏
