A busy afternoon getting zips popped into our festive coo cushions ready for the start of a month of Christmas fayres next week.

Mr CherryGrove bought me plenty of treats to keep me going from the fantastic wee shop, Jo's Sweet Treats.

If your ever in Edzell it's a great wee shop to get sweets that remind you of childhood days.

Will they last me all week?? 🤔 (Don't worry I've got my favourite rhubarb and custards hidden away!!)

🎃 Not all pumpkins are orange! 💜💚

A little bit of autumn creativity on Make it Monday today to brighten up the craft shed! 🍂

My daughter and I had great fun making this pumpkin tree at our local craft club, using pipe cleaners to create these colourful little pumpkins hung on twigs and a vase full of conkers collected on our walk.

I think my velvet pumpkins have complimented our display beautifully! 💚💜🤍

I love how a bit of creativity can turn simple things into something special, especially when you get to make memories along the way. 🥰

Sundays are for.......

Sunday strolls. What a beautiful autumn day finished off with a glorious sunset.

Mr CherryGrove and I had a lovely walk around Fasque lake this afternoon admiring the ever changing colours of the landscape around us, swans and a couple of calves and cute miniature goats. We even saw a gritter out on our walk home......not ready for them yet 🥶

We are incredibly lucky to have this on our doorstep💖.

It's been another busy week in the craft shed with my 50th bowl cosy made earlier today!!

Today was all about working with nature, bringing a little bit of the outdoors of Fettercairn to your bowls.

Happy Coosday!

Just taking 5 mins to pop my feet up as it's been productive day ahead today in the craft shed getting lots of lovely orders completed before Mr CherryGrove has holidays next week......I suppose I better spend a few days with him 🤣

As it's getting colder it time to dig out the slippers to keep my tootsies roasty toasty!

They match our Christmas coo cushion perfectly......don't you think?? 🐮

With the school holidays here in Scotland, I'm curious… have you been pumpkin picking yet, or are your Halloween decorations already up? 👻

My handmade velvet pumpkins are still available in Plush Purple, Emerald Green and Silver, with two sizes to choose from. They're a lovely way to bring a little autumn colour into your home and can be enjoyed year after year.

Good morning

On this, World mental health day, how are you, I mean really how are you? This is a subject that is so very close to my heart.

I find that in the ever increasing digital world it is so important to take that time out for you. I of course learnt the hard way way back in 2019, but I absolutely love that crafting got me out of a very bleak time and I can now do it every day as my wee venture.

Running a small business just now is incredibly hard and recently I've had the signs of burn out creeping in again but this time instead of plodding on I took action and now down tools at a reasonable hour and make time for me. Its not selfish, it's self love.

So what do you do to look after you?

Remember its okay to be not okay. ❤
