A 6” two-layer cake, salted caramel buttercream filling with an extra swirl of caramel and a sprinkling of flaked Maldon sea salt hidden in the centre.

What made this one feel extra special was being sent a photo of my first Sweet By Savory cake as the inspiration.

This is now my third beachy-themed cake, and honestly, I’m not mad about it. The sea is absolutely my happy place so I’m all good if seaside cakes become my thing!

High 5! ⭐️✋

Finally had my first food hygiene inspection this week and I’m so proud to share my result!

I was determined to put everything into this and was so incredibly nervous. The inspector actually asked me to go and sit down because my pacing was making him nervous 🙈

It’s like golf scoring, the lower the better. Swipe to see my score and why I’m so over the moon with this result!!

Certificate smile is on! Never before have I been happy to score a zero 🧡🥂

Beachy with a touch of Rocky 🐾

The fact I’m getting repeat customers this early in to my little business venture fills me with gratitude!

This 6” 2 layer classic Vicky sponge was made with the beach in mind. Biscuit sand, white chocolate shells, all to support the main man himself…Rocky the Boston Terrier!

Rocky’s figure was lovingly made by an independent artist using lots of photos of the real Rocky, right down to those wonderful ears that have never quite stood up straight. A beautiful keepsake long after the leftovers have disappeared to help celebrate a special milestone 🐾🤍

New shape unlocked 🔓

This beautiful 8”, 2 layer, square Victoria sponge is a buttercream take on a fondant inspo pic. Piped ivory swirls finished with white chocolate leaves for a big milestone birthday!

Part 2 of the ‘ber cupcake drop… Cosy Season! 🍂🤎☕️

And now for the softer side of October…

If Spooky Season isn’t quite your thing, this one is for you. Think pumpkins, autumn leaves, warm tones and all the cosy little details that make this time of year so beautiful.

A box of 6 autumn-inspired cupcakes, decorated with a mix of buttercream, fondant & white chocolate details. From tiny pumpkins and delicate autumn leaves to pumpkin pie-inspired buttercream and elegant orange swirls.

Everything is handmade aside from the sprinkles because my eyes just couldn’t after those tiny white chocolate leaves!

£30 for 6 cupcakes
Pre-orders must be placed by 16th October at the latest.

I’m very fortunate to be booked up at the end of October, but cosy season is my favourite so I couldn’t let this pass me by!

Part 1 of the ‘ber cupcake drop…Spooky Season! 🎃👻🕷️

It’s finally time to reveal the first half of my October cupcake drop, and we’re starting with all things spooky!

A box of 6 Halloween cupcakes, decorated with a mix of buttercream, fondant & white chocolate details. Every single decoration is completely handmade, with a lot of fiddly little details going into each box 🤍

I’m very fortunate to be booked up at the end of October, but these ideas have been in my head for the longest time so I’m hoping I can squeeze a couple of orders in, because who likes free time anyway?! I do have very limited space though so get in touch soon if you’d like to order 🧡

A little kindness, all boxed up 🧁

A few weeks ago, I asked you all to nominate someone special to win some free cake. These boxes of vanilla and red velvet cupcakes headed out to my winners recently, spreading a little kindness along the way. 🤍

Cupcakes are a lovely way to say thank you, congratulations, happy birthday or simply “I saw these and thought of you.”

I have so much to say about this cake 🤍

A 6”, 3 layer lemon sponge with buttercream, lemon curd filling, and a white chocolate ganache drip. To include the birthday girls favourite things, Ipswich Town Football Club…and lemurs! I’m absolutely here for the random briefs 🤍 First time I’ve made a football scarf to wrap around a lemur!

Hoping I did it justice given the customer travelled almost 70 miles to collect it from me, which blows my mind 🤍

Being married to a Norwich fan, taking on this order was risky. Marriage is still standing…for now 🙈

Over 100 individual tests of willpower 🧁

Cupcakes heading to a big celebration party. They were frosted before they left my kitchen but I couldn’t resist getting some very satisfying photos before the buttercream made an appearance!

Cupcakes are a great alternative to one big cake for an event. It saves cutting, allows multiple flavours, and can be personalised or kept simple and elegant.
