Well it's taken years of practice with many, many batches gone wrong, but I've finally nearly perfected the macaron....Not quite perfect yet but I'm happy with the results 😊

A completely unique birthday cake with an edible image of a famous stamp designed by Gerald Scarfe of Joyce Grenfell from the 1998 Comedians issue.

The 30p value was misprinted for 37p and there were a very limited number of stamps that were issued in error which makes them highly collectectable.

Gluten & dairy free used to be a challenge for me as a cake maker. Every time someone ordered with these requirements it would fill me with dread!
However Flora unsalted plant based butter in block form was a complete game changer. I'm still able to make my usual Swiss meringue buttercream recipe with it to give a great smooth texture & silky taste......Like on this heart shaped birthday cake adorned with fresh strawberries 🍓, raspberries & blueberries 🫐
