🌸 My story🌸
*link is in bio*
This May, I’m taking on a personal challenge, walking 100 miles to raise funds and awareness for the National Deaf Children’s Society 💛
This cause is incredibly close to my heart. I was born with hearing difficulties, something I’ve struggled with my whole life and honestly, it’s not talked about enough. Growing up, I refused hearing aids because I was scared of being bullied. I was always asked to sit at the front so I could hear properly, and more often than not, I felt like the black sheep.
That’s why this matters so much to me.
The National Deaf Children’s Society supports deaf children with any level of hearing loss, and the people who care for them. With 54,000 deaf children in the UK, their work is vital and 99% of it is funded by the public.
Here’s how your donation could help:
£10 could give a family free, confidential support through their Helpline
£70 could fund specialist audiology support for 5 families
£150 could help run local projects to support a deaf child’s communication skills
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it truly makes a difference. And even sharing this post helps more than you know.
Thank you for your kindness and support 🤍
