When I took this picture it was the first time i've ever made Baci di Dama more than 6 years ago, for a food blog I used to keep. At the time, I would have never imagined that years later I would have moved to another country, doing the job I've always dreamt of and having my small business, selling exactly these biscuits.
Life is so crazy and wonderful, you never know where it could take you. BUT it could take you to
this Sunday 18th of June from 10 am till 6 pm, where you can see and taste what my dreams are made of. PLUS an italian friend of mine is joining me for the first time ever making the best piadine and crescioni you can find in Edinburgh. They're italian flatbread from Emilia Romagna, filled with the best quality italian ingredients and they are perfect for a quick lunch on the go.
So if you want to feel like being on a italian holiday this Sunday, come and find us 😉🥙🍪

Cosy Biscuits

Hello! I'm Samanta and I'm the person behind Cosy Biscuits. I'm Italian and three years ago I decided to leave my small town in northern Italy and move to Scotland to follow my dream.

Despite my degree in Psychology, I wanted to be a baker, to create delicious treats from scratch but most important, I loved the effect my baking had on others. It's amazing how a biscuit or a cake could help people feeling better, put a smile on their faces, and let them forget about their problems for a couple of minutes.

I felt in love with Scotland straight away, the wilderness and the beauty of this country are astonishing.

Here I had the chance to be trained and work in a bakery without any previous experience. I had the chance to go to college and to expand my knowledge of the baking world. All these opportunities led me to create Cosy Biscuits.
