🛹 ADULTS OF EDINBURGH & THE LOTHIANS - THIS IS YOUR SIGN

You know that thing you always thought "wasn't for you"? Board sports, balance, looking a bit silly while you learn? Yeah, we're here to prove you wrong.

The SurfSkate Academy is bringing a surfskate taster session to Ratho Community Centre, built entirely for adult beginners. No experience, no fitness level, no "I'm too old for this." Just you, a board, and the most fun you'll have had on four wheels in years.

You don't need to be a surfer or anywhere near the ocean to fall in love with surfskating. Whether you've never touched a surfboard in your life or you're simply landlocked and looking for your next obsession, surfskating is for everyone.

🪵🌳Tomorrow at Ratho Baby & Toddler Group the children will be able to do a wee Gruffalo Craft and enjoy a reading of the latest Julia Donaldson book, Gruffalo Granny!

🪵🌳No booking required and we'll have the usual toys set up in the main hall and teas and coffee in the lounge.

🛹RATHO: YOUR KIDS ARE ABOUT TO FIND THEIR NEW FAVOURITE THING

The SurfSkate Academy is landing at Ratho Community Centre, and we're kicking things off with the biggest discount we've ever offered, just for your local community.

Ages: P3–S1 (and they don’t need to buy any kit as we provide the boards and helmets).

What if they haven't been on a board before?
Every session is genuinely inclusive. No experience, no fitness level, and no background is a barrier. Seb has years of experience working with young people throughout Scotland, his passion for the sport is infectious and you'll be learning from a seasoned board pro!

What's in it for the kids?
Confidence, new skills, new friends, all on four wheels and all in 45 minutes.

When does it start?
