As a child, I loved baking. I remember the time spent with my mom, her old recipe notebooks, and my first colorful cookbooks
That’s when the childhood dream first appeared — of having my own little café where I could sell my baked goods.
While studying, I worked at a café in Poznań. I baked cakes that were displayed in the shop window, and it felt like the first glimpse of that dream coming true.
I could test recipes and see what people truly enjoyed. But that experience also showed me the bigger picture. I realized that a café or baking studio isn’t only about the enjoyable part — baking. It also means huge bills, rent, and constant uncertainty.
As I entered the baking business, I heard the stories of many women. A lot of them achieved incredible success, but it often came at the cost of constant stress, working weekends, and having little time for themselves.
Cake Shed feels to me like the fulfillment of that childhood dream — but without the stress of massive rent or overwhelming bills

Jako dziecko uwielbiałam piec. Pamiętam wspólny czas z mamą, jej stare zeszyty z przepisami i moje pierwsze kolorowe książki kucharskie.
Już wtedy pojawiło się to dziecięce marzenie o własnym lokalu, małej kawiarni, w której mogłabym sprzedawać swoje wypieki
Na studiach pracowałam w kawiarni w Poznaniu. Piekłam ciasta, które trafiały do witrynki i to była taka pierwsza namiastka tego marzenia.
Mogłam testować przepisy i sprawdzać co ludziom smakuje.Ale to doświadczenie pokazało mi też szerszy obraz. Zrozumiałam, że kawiarnia czy pracownia to nie tylko ta przyjemna część, jaką jest pieczenie. To też olbrzymie rachunki, czynsz i ciągła niepewność.
Wchodząc w słodki biznes, poznałam historie mnóstwa kobiet. Wiele z nich osiągnęło ogromny sukces, ale często był on opłacony ciągłym stresem, pracującymi weekendami i brakiem czasu dla siebie.
Cake Shed wydaje się dla mnie spełnieniem tego dziecięcego marzenia, ale bez stresu o ogromny wynajem czy rachunki
