Good morning,
I wanted to put a post up as I am getting lots of people messaging me regarding cake orders and wanted to save everyone the hassle of messaging me. Unfortunately I have stopped taking orders on celebration cakes, there are a few reasons for this! Firstly my main job during the day is at Didcot girls school, I’m not home all day to bake, then there is the commitment to these dates that customers book , unfortunately I have become really busy! With working during the day, then baking for the cake shed after work, plus to throw in the daily schedule, I have a horse and house full of (older children) that still give me lots of work round the house. I also have another hobby hiking! Yesterday I completed two of the 3 Welsh peaks in one day, I’m currently training for the national 3 peak challenge next year! Where I will be raising money for Oxfordshire foster carers, I will be starting next week to put a percentage of my cake shed sales into my funding to start me off 😁
Somewhere along the lines I need to balance work and life, not committing myself to dates works for me! The cake shed works for me 😁
Hope this clears things up and I am really sorry to people who I have had to turn away! I’m am just such a busy mum that I just don’t know where I could possibly fit more in my life right now 🥰
