😅 I can’t believe this dream is actually happening! Our very own shop Chapter & Crumb

Been baking since 2019 and building up the Rachs Bakes brand, opening a spot at the lovely Hassy Market, and now I've got the chance to really take it further with my friend – a bit mad really, but what do you reckon about a community bookcafe? Not that crazy, I said let’s do it! 🤪🤞🏻 📚 ☕️ 🧁

⚠️ No need to worry!
Rachs Bakes isn’t disappearing
I’ll still be making celebration cakes, treat boxes, traybakes and much more, plus the little pink box will be opening again soon for you lovely lot! 👀

Just wanted to say a massive thank you (for all the support & ear bending I have done 😜) to all my wonderful friends, family, work pals, the friendly market traders, Louisa for having the crazy idea in the first place 😂 but mainly to my customers, my Cake Crew – Without you, none of this would be possible.
THANK YOU ☺️ 🩷

Stay sweet peeps! 👩🏻‍🍳

Hey Cake Crew! 👋🏻

⚠️ Just a little update regarding Rachs Bakes Box … unfortunately I will have to put the pink box on hold for a couple of weeks whilst we are working on getting our new shop Chapter & Crumb fitted out ready to open our doors by the end of Oct!

👻 Rachs Bakes Box will be BACK OPEN on HALLOWEEN & be full of ghoulish bakes & spooktacular treats for all you Zombies and little goblins to enjoy! 😋

🗓️ Then open every fortnight on Saturdays.

Thank you for your continued support.

📚🧁 A quick update from Rachs Bakes… and a super exciting new chapter! 🧁📚

After lots of thinking, planning, buzzing (and probably a few sleepless nights 😂), I’ve got some exciting news to share…

Rachs Bakes will soon be sadly saying cheerio to Haslingden Market.
Honestly, I’ve loved being part of Hassy and I’m so grateful to everyone who stopped by my stall, grabbed a cake, had a natter, recommended me or just popped over to say hi. I’ll really miss my lovely customers and the traders I’ve got to know. 🩷

BUT… this isn’t the end of Rachs Bakes. Not at all! 🥰

I’m teaming up with the amazing Ink and Soul CIC to create something new in Bacup…

🌿CHAPTER & CRUMB 🌿

A cosy little spot bringing together books, drinks, bakes, community events & a good old sense of belonging — with Ink & Soul and Rach’s Bakes all under one roof. 📚☕🍰

We’ve got loads of work to do to get our new shop ready — making it the warm, welcoming place we’ve been dreaming of — and I’d love for you to come along on the journey.

So, please head over and follow our new Chapter & Crumb page. 🙏🏻💕 We’ll be sharing all the behind-the-scenes madness, decorating, shop updates, sneaky peeks, opening news and everything else along the way!

To everyone at Haslingden Market and everyone who’s supported Rach’s Bakes there — thank you. It really means a lot. ❤️

One chapter's ending… but a super exciting new one is just starting.

See you at Chapter & Crumb! 📖☕🧁

Loads of love,
Rach ###
