The Basement Cafe, Community Hub

12/10/2026

To all, as from the 22nd October 2026 The Basement Cafe Community Hub will be closing down permantley.
We will be focusing our work at The Edge Centre Darlington in our outreach services.
We know this is a sad time for all.
We would like to give a very BIG THANKYOU to all those that have supported us over the years with food and financial provision. Without your help we would not of been able to support those in great need.
To those who set up The Basement many years ago those who have volunteered faithfully over the years our cooks who have served up feasts, we are so very grateful to each and everyone of you.
We have seen many come through and many change their lives around.
Most of all the love of Jesus shown in this place.
We will be posting other services that can provide a safe place, foodbags and hot meals.
Our last open day is the 22nd
THANKYOU TO YOU ALL. 😇😇
