Hi everyone! It’s been what? Almost a year since I last posted here.. I was busy growing a baby in my tummy and now still busy growing my baby outside my tummy 🙈 But today, I finally turned my oven on to bake a cake for my mama’s birthday. Always wanted to bake birthday cakes for my family back home so I couldn’t let this chance pass. Happy birthday again mama! 💕

Annika’s 18th. 💕 Biggest (and heaviest) cake I’ve done so far. All edible from top to bottom 🤩 It gave me major anxiety making this one. Checked my fridge countless of times (even in the middle of the night 😂) to see if my layers are doing fine, turning me into a zombie during the actual event. 🫢 Transporting them was the climax of the process though. If I could just stay in the car boot and hug them I think I would. 😂😂😂 I know other bakers can relate to this, the anxiety in making tall cakes is no joke but I think we can all agree that it’s all worth it once you see the cake successfully assembled in the venue. ☺️☺️
Special thanks to my hubby who helped me carry and deliver this baby. I know he felt the stress too. 😂😂
