Gorgeously crisp engagement cake for my bestie. Chocolate cake with a whipped chocolate ganache and carrot cake top tier with a vanilla cream cheese filling. Vanilla buttercream left with a rough top edge for a little interest and perfectly finished with oversized natives to go with the Bride to be’s theme

So I have probably left this a bit late but my family and I are relocating to the gorgeous Port Lincoln for a sea/life change. While we are so very excited about the move, I will not be caking for the foreseeable future. I do hope to get back to cakes etc at some point, but it may be some time. I will continue to share baking and cakes for family and friends with you all.

Not sure about everyone else, but my children are obsessed with all things Jurassic Park/World and Camp Cretaceous. My youngest asked for her birthday cake to be a Camp Cretaceous themed cake but ‘pretty’. I got cracking ordering her an absolutely amazing topper from and her favourite baby Dino Bumpy for the model on top of the cake. I think it turned out pretty fantastically and she was so happy with her cake and amazed as I kept the whole design a secret
