Crisp, clean and beautifully understated, this wedding cake was finished with an arrangement of handcrafted sugar flowers, including a delicate rose, lisianthus, eucalyptus and soft blue blooms.

The personalised cake topper was hand-painted by Emily and Ryan themselves — such a lovely way to add a personal touch and make the design completely their own.

Creating a wedding cake is about so much more than the finished design. It's about getting to know each couple, bringing together all of their ideas, and creating something that not only looks beautiful but tastes just as incredible.

Congratulations to Chloe and Joe on your beautiful wedding at The Great Barn - Wedding Venue

When Chloe and Joe came to their design consultation, they brought lots of wonderful ideas and inspiration. Together, we created the perfect wedding cake design, combining a contemporary stone-effect finish with elegant handcrafted details to complement both their vision and the stunning character of their venue.

Set against the beautiful stone walls of The Great Barn, this rustic-inspired design felt completely at home. The cake was finished with an arrangement of handcrafted sugar flowers, including one of my personal favourites, the beautiful pompom dahlia.

To make the design even more personal, I incorporated a subtle hand drawn leaf detailing inspired by The Lord of the Rings—a thoughtful nod to one of the couple's favourite films. These understated details blended seamlessly into the overall design, adding a meaningful touch that reflected their personalities while keeping the cake timeless and elegant.

It was such a pleasure to create a cake that told a little of Chloe and Joe's story while perfectly complementing both their wedding theme and the beautiful surroundings of The Great Barn.

Congratulations to Jo and James who got married at the stunning The Swan at Streatley back in June.

This classic wedding cake features delicately handcrafted fondant draping, creating graceful folds that bring movement and softness to the design. The subtle line detailing on the middle tier adds texture and depth, perfectly complementing the clean, elegant silhouette.

Finished with an arrangement of handcrafted sugar pompom dahlias, cosmos, gypsophila and eucalyptus. Every flower has been individually made to create a natural, romantic finish.

I absolutely love it when my couples send me their wedding photos.

Seeing the moment you cut your cake, surrounded by smiles, laughter and your favourite people is always so special. It's a real reminder that every cake is so much more than a centrepiece, it's part of one of the happiest days of your lives.
