Difficult to capture the cake in its entirety due to its height! The brief was simply to incorporate blush pink and rest was up to me; being the self critical individual I am I feared it was a bit underwhelming 😔

I was keen to use a spacer tier which caused a mishap early on due to its weighty marble top (forever learning with each experience!) but managed to rescue it to some degree however did lose some of the florals I’d arranged earlier that morning that also fell out 😓

Bottom stencil is a new one by called Florentina 💗

Not sure when my eldest nephews childhood years sped so swiftly past and his wedding day dawned on us in a flash!

Had a couple of days to pull this together with no real plan as I’m always a bit disorderly like that and had to also repair some damage to the cake en route to the venue 😓

There was also an overriding sense of apprehension over our mothers ill health which meant we were unable to fully immerse ourselves in wedding festivities but Alhamdulillah it was alright on the day 🙏🏼

Wishing the newlyweds a blissful lifetime of happiness together ♥️♥️♥️
