Happy 17th birthday to Ravit on Saturday.
I made this chocolate loaded cake for him and mum who are self-confessed chocolate aficionados.
I called this cake Chocolate Caboodle.
It is a 8 inches 3 layer naked cake.
The two bottom layers are chocolate fudge cake, and the top layer is chocolate brownies, stacked with rich chocolate ganache, topped with chocolate pieces.
Phew! That is a LOT of chocolates, but oh so yummy.

Buttermilk chocolate fudge cake,
sandwiched in between salted caramel Swiss meringue buttercream,
encased in whipped chocolate ganache,
drizzled in salted caramel,
decorated with piped chocolate ganache
and homemade chocolate macarons.
