After many great years in Herne Bay, we wanted to share that Garage Coffee Roasters will be handing the shop over to The Refinery, who will be taking on the space in the coming weeks.

Jordan & Amy are brilliant local operators who we’ve worked with for many years as a wholesale partner, and we’re really pleased the space will continue to be home to an independent coffee business, still serving Garage to the people of Herne Bay.

Our last day trading in Herne Bay will be this Sunday (22nd March), so please do pop in over the next couple of days if you’d like to say goodbye to the Garage team there, who will all be moving to other roles within the business.

The store will be closed from Monday 23rd, before reopening under The Refinery team shortly afterwards.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the shop over the years — the customers, the team, and the local community who have made it such a special place. We wish Jordan & Amy every success in their new venture and are delighted to see great coffee continue in the town. You can follow for more details on their opening date.

A really special cup. ☕️

Our Starmaya AA from Zambia blend is a washed East African coffee with vibrant complexity and a beautifully clean finish.

→ Floral, crisp, and incredibly balanced. 🧡

Brew it however you like, but those floral tones really come through using a V60 or on batch!
