I'd like to introduce myself and my Simona's Dolci Pasticci.

My name is Simona, I come from Italy and I have a big passion for cooking and baking. I love cooking everything, but my favourite recipes are cakes, biscuits and desserts. I enjoy preparing gorgeous meals and I often have a house full of people. My friends love coming to my house for a good Italian meal, and I love watching the smiles on their faces when they try to guess which special dessert I h

ave prepared. They know there is always a delicious cake waiting in my kitchen! My experience with making sweets comes from years and years of practice and hundreds of cakes. I have a big family in Italy, and sweets are always needed, for any kind of event and for any period of the year. Once in UK, I've decided to start this project encouraged and supported by my English and Italian friends. The key points of my Dolci Pasticci are:

1) selected ingredients
2) 100% home-made
3) Italian traditional recipes from different regions
4) my interpretation of English recipes

If you fancy eating genuine home-made sweets, and you'd like to try some of the more famous Italian recipes, you came to the right place! I can offer a pretty wide selection of items to choose from. Upon request, I can even offer special combinations for parties and Italian-style birthday cakes. So, the last thing I'd like to say is...

This is for myself... I made a super-special cake for my pre-marriage party at The Plough, last Saturday. An amazing sunny day with amazing people. The cake was a truly success, the filling cream and the strawberries heart was fresh and soft... not a piece was left! :-)
